We are a body of Christ-like believers who are imperfect and flawed, trying to find righteousness in the blood of Jesus Christ. We care about the community, and we will always be here to help those in need.

Our vision

To make disciples of men & women. In order for this body of Christian believers to succeed in this venture, we must empower ourselves with knowledge and wisdom of God's living word.

What We Believe

We believe in God the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth.

We believe Jesus Christ is His Only Son and our Lord and Savior.

We believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, and the communion of saints.

Why should you visit?

When you go to church, you should not have to pretend to be something that you are not. You should not have to dress in a way that does not reflect your true personality. Neither should you have to endure a church format that leaves you wondering why you even came. At McIntosh Chapel, we have prayed and have been given a new and innovative worship experience that will allow you to commune with God in His holy place while enjoying all of the comforts that make you who you are. We understand this may not be for everyone, but it is our prayer that you will enjoy the worship experience. And when you come back, bring a friend. Remember you are blessed, so act like it!!!

Wait…There’s More

Jesus' parting command to the apostles was to wait for the promised Holy Spirit. This message looks at why God asks us to wait, and why waiting in obedience is worth it.

Message notes

Preaching from Acts 1:1-8 (NLT), the message centers on verse 4, where Jesus commands his apostles not to leave Jerusalem until the Father sends the promised gift of the Holy Spirit. These are some of Jesus' last words on earth, and they begin with "wait." Brother Hulitt admits that waiting is hard, but points out that people wait willingly when they believe the outcome is worth it, as with a broken elevator, a restaurant line, or a hot shower. Waiting gets hard when the details are missing, yet in Acts 1 Jesus answers the who, what, when, where, why, and how: the apostles wait in Jerusalem a few days for power from the Holy Spirit so they can be his witnesses. God does not always give that much detail, as Abraham, Lazarus' family, Israel in Egypt, and David each found out. King Saul shows the cost of impatience in 1 Samuel 13: he acted on what he saw instead of what God had said, and it cost him his kingdom. He shares his own stories of impatience and of a canceled flight that turned into a provided blessing. The closing point is that if the apostles had not waited in obedience, there would be no church, so whatever you are facing, wait on the Lord.
